Here's a thank you email Alice wrote recently to someone who visited us:
Dear _________,
Thank you for the presents you left for us. It was very sweet of you. Thank you for visiting us, it was very nice to see you. I love you. I let you borrow my play room. Today I used the paint brushes and the book and painted a helicopter. I want to show it to you because you are a boy like Gaby.

Problems...
Alice and I were walking outside the other day when she surprised and then amused me with the following conversation:
Alice (sighing): Mommy, I have a problem.
Me (thinking): Gosh, she young to be heart-sharing so seriously. (aloud): What is your problem, baby?
Alice: I like ice-cream.
Me (a little bewildered): How is that a problem? Ice-cream is yummy!
Alice: No, see Mommy, it's a happy problem!
She's so funny!
