Of Nicknames and the Like
Alice has developed a fascination for the Endtime, and for learning everyone's nickname.
One of her favorite things to read for devotions is from the MOP about how we'll all rise up to see Jesus at the Rapture. I gave her a brief explanation of the Endtime events and that there will be a bad man called "the Antichrist" who wil try to be the king of the world, but then Jesus will come and show him Who the real King is.
Once, when flipping through the book she came across a picture of the Antichrist, so I pointed it out to her and said, "See, that's the man that Mommy told you about. His name is the Antichrist." She looked thoughtful for a minute and then asked me, "Mom, what's his nickname?"

The morning after her Auntie Coral left for Brazil, we were in the kitchen eating breakfast when we heard the sound of an airplane flying. Alice quickly ran to me and said, "Shhh, Mommy, I think that sounds like Coral!"

A few days ago, she wandered out of the room. When I found her, she was in the food-room "cleaning" the fruits and veggies. When I asked her what she was doing that for, she replied, "For my country!"
